Hospice Plant Sale Seeks Volunteers!

They are looking for a coordinator for the event, as well as volunteers to help with all aspects of the preparation, plant care, and sale. The coordinator position is greatly needed as that person oversees the progress and manages volunteers. This would be an excellent way to earn your volunteer hours.

Wildflower Garden Club Grants Available

The Wildflower Garden Club has updated its scholarship program to offer a variety of grant opportunities. The goal of this program is to encourage botanical education by funding scholarly studies, research projects or work in the areas of Horticulture, Floriculture, Landscape Design, Forestry, Botany, Agronomy, Plant Pathology and/or allied subjects. The amount available per year is $2000.00. 2015 application deadline February 10, 2015
